This information follows after the recent Aleksandr “KaiR0N-” Anashkin’s departure from Virtus.Pro. However, rumors are spreading that the CS:GO master will leave Aleksei “Qikert” Golubev.
22-years-old interz left Cloud9 in March. He has been playing for Cloud9 since April last year and at the beginning of his tenure in the squad won with him Intel Extreme Masters XVII â Dallas and was a part of core Gambit Youngster, later Gambit, roster.
Further successes of C9 were much weaker. The team placed 9th – 12th at the Intel Extreme Masters XVII – Cologne and 5th – 8th at the Intel Extreme Masters Rio Major in November 2022.
As a result, C9 management decided to part ways with interz in December of 2022 and choose a candidate to replace him in early January. Timur “buster” Tulepov from Virtus.pro replaced him as interz was benched.
Virtus.pro are going through difficult times right now. Recently, the management of the organization decided to withdraw from the Intel Extreme Masters Rio 2023, considering that the CS:GO roster is not in shape to participate in a significant tournament.
There are rumors that the team has discord between the players, but they do not officially comment on this.
Virtus.pro are now:
· Aleksei “Qikert” Golubev
· Dzhami “Jame” Ali (IGL)
· Evgeniy “FL1T” Lebedev
· Petr “fame” Bolyshev
· Dastan “dastan” Aqbaev (Coach)
