On January 25, the developers of CS2 released an announcement revealing the imminent end of the first season of Premier and future innovations.
Next week, we will say “goodbye” to Premier Season One and “hello” to Season Two. To celebrate, every player who earned a CS Rating during Season One will receive a commemorative Premier Season One Medal. Your medal includes detailed Season Statistics that you can view by clicking on the medal in your inventory.
– Valve
The first season began on September 27, 2023, the day the updated version of the shooter was released. The second season will last until the end of BLAST.tv Austin Major 2025. The CS2 Major will occur from June 3 to June 22 in the United States.
Users with a rating at least once will receive a medal and similar stats. Ten calibration matches are needed to get the new rating.
The color of the medal will depend on your maximum rating in Premier. Each stripe on the medal means 25 wins in the mode. There is a maximum of five stripes on the medal. To receive a medal for the second season, you will need 25 match wins and an active rating at the end of the event.
While the changes coming to Special Forces weapons have yet to be fully revealed, Valve has given a hint of what’s to come on their blog and Twitter.
In Season 2, the M4A4 will be available for $2,900, which aligns with the M4A1-S. The FAMAS is getting buffs to its standing and crouching accuracy values and a price cut. There will also be changes to the map pool, with the Train map replacing the Vertigo.
