Turkish esports organization Eternal Fire has finally ways with Yasin “xfl0ud” Koç, who has been benched since April.
“My road has come to the end with Eternal Fire after a 1.5-year journey. I’m not under contract any more and that means I am a Free Agent from now on. Looking for a new opportunity, new home, new challenge,” the athlete noted on Twitter.
20-year-old xfl0ud joined Eternal Fire in October 2021 and has thrice been benched on the team during his tenure. While the initial benching was due to a hand injury, the latter two were performance related as the team has struggled to find a winning formula.
In xfl0ud’s final stint with Eternal Fire, the have showed mixed form, winning CCT Central Europe Malta Finals but otherwise failing to have an impact on the scene, including missing the final CS:GO Major after a 12th -14th place finish the BLAST.tv Paris Major 2023: European RMR B. This failure seemingly set the stage for his exit, which included Ãzgür “woxic” Ekerreturning to the roster for a second time.
Eternal Fire’s lineup currently is:
- Ä°smailÑan “XANTARES” DörtkardeÅ
- BuÄra “Calyx” Arkın
- Engin “MAJ3R” Küpeli (In-game leader)
- Ali “Wicadia” Haydar Yalçın (Stand-in)
- Ãzgür “woxic” Eker
