Russian-Serbian esports organization 9 Pandas have entered the Dota 2 scene with the signing of the ex-HellRaisers lineup. The lineup left the HellRaisers organization on April 2 following their first-place finish in the second tour of the DPC Eastern European Division 1 league.
“We’re proud to announce our new world-class Dota 2 team. We’re committed to growing together with the team, providing them with the support they need to perform even better. While some may have mistaken us for a media project due to our reality show “TryHard”, we want to clarify that it’s a separate product not related to the club. Our primary focus is on esports, and we plan to excel in the competitive aspect,” said Adalyat “Krookie” Mamedov, CEO of 9 Pandas Esports.
Alongside the roster and their manager, ex-HellRaisers sports director and Russian esports celebrity Maria “Inverno” Gunina and former CEO Aldar “Jamba” Dzambinov have also joined 9 Pandas as the organization’s Chief Strategy Officer and the team’s manager, respectively.
“We carefully approached the selection of a new organization because we were looking for partners and allies who share our values, rather than an abstract sponsor. Since the beginning of this season, we have already achieved significant results, but now it is time to create a legacy,” Inverno said.
As previously mentioned, ex-HellRaisers recently won the second tour of the DPC EEU Division 1 league. As a result, the team qualified to the ESL One Berlin Major 2023, where the lineup will make their debut under the 9 Pandas tag on April 27.
9 Pandas’ Dota 2 division is now:
