North American Dota 2 team KBU.US has disbanded, their player Kirill “Sunlight” Kachinsky reported on Twitter.
“Disband. No More KBU. For any offers for upcoming TI/Last chance ‘ sunlight#3158 can work as coach/draft,” Sunlight noted.
His teammate Yegor “.Ark” Zhabotinskii also has started to find a new team. He is targeting the North American region.
The disband occurred after the elimination of the North American qualifier for The International 2022 Dota 2. In the lower bracket, the team lost to Wildcard Gaming and stopped when they were a step away from reaching Last Chance.
KBU.US was created at the end of 2021 before the start of DPC 2021/2022. The team finished in the top 3 twice in Division II in the North American region and could be promoted to Division I in the following season.
