Two Filipino players, Kim “Gabbi” Santos and Karl “Karl” Baldovino, have left the Southeast Asia esports organization T1.
“All good things come to an end. Today we announce the departure of ‘Karl’ and ‘Gabbi’ from our DOTA2 roster. Thank you for everything you’ve done and we wish them all the best for their future!” T1 noted on Twitter.
Gabbi has been representing T1 since February this year, while Karl has been with the team since October 2021. Which players will take the vacant positions in the roster is still unknown.
T1 ranked fifth in the Dota Pro Circuit SEA 2021/22 Tour 3 and did not qualify for the Arlington Major, but retained a slot in the first division. The team also did not qualify for ESL One Malaysia 2022 and took 9th-12th place at ESL One Stockholm 2022.
