Professional multigaming organization Team Empire has disbanded their Dota 2 roster after unsatisfactory results.
“As you know, the team was eliminated from DPC Division 2 from the last place and could not perform well in any of the online tournaments. Many players of the roster, being strong individually, were unable to show the teamwork and synergy necessary for victories. We wish the ex-Imperials good luck,” Team Empire said in a statement.
Rumors about this decision came in sight in July, but then it was unknown what plans the organization had for the future. Now, Team Empire stated it would remain in competitive Dota 2. The organization promised to announce more details later.
Team Empire’s Dota 2 lineup was:
- Arslan “Retrograde” Shadzhanov
- Ilya “squad1x” Kuvaldin
- Maxim “Shachlo”Abramovskikh
- Jamshid “jAM3S” Abdurashitov
- Stanislav “633” Glushan (captain and coach)
