London-based esports organization Tundra Esports defeated Team Secret at the Grand Final of The International 2022 with a score 3:0.
Third place in the tournament went to Team Liquid.
Tundra Esports did not participate in The International last year. The squad finished second in the regional qualifier and missed the tournament. Team Secret was ranked third at The International 2021.
The winner, Tundra Esports, will take home 45% of the prize pool. According to the latest data, this is almost $8.5 million. Team Secret gets 13% – this is more than $2.4 million.
The International’s prize pool in 2022, according to the latest data, exceeded $18.8 million. It is formed from the sales of the Battle Pass. This is much less than last year. Prize money in 2021 amounted to more than $40 million.
