TSM coach and former TSM League of Legends star player Heo “Huni” Seung-hoon has announced his retirement plans.
“My contract has been terminated with TSM due to injury issue and retiring since August 5th. I’m in a position where I can’t play anymore so I’ve decided to retire. Appreciated to everyone that has been supporting my career and it was pleasure that I could entertain to who watch the league. I’m really happy that I accomplished a lot as a professional player because I was getting a lot of support from everyone and lucky! Thanks for phenomenal memories. I already miss playing on stage and hearing my names there,” Huni noted in a statement.
24-year-old Huni tried to shift from player to coach position in June but health problems did not allow him to switch roles.
During his career, Huni played for Evil Geniuses, Dignitas, Clutch Gaming, Echo Fox and others before signing with TSM in November 2020.
He expressed his desire to stay in the esports industry, although we don’t know which role he will be able to continue working in.
