Ex-Natus Vincere IGL Kirill "Boombl4" Mikhaylov alongside Aleksey "NickelBack" Trofimov and Igor "Forester" Bezotecheskiy from Entropiq are to join 1WIN, insider Aleksey "OverDrive" Biryukov reported.
The three new members will take the places of Egor "flamie" Vasilyev, Aleksandr "glowiing" Matsiyevich and ex-IGL Ihor "lollipop21k" Sołodkov, who left the squad in December last year. According to OverDrive, Aleksandr "TRAVIS" Timkiv and Denis "deko" Zhukov will remain with the organization.
NickelBack left Entropiq in November last year and Forester is still inactive in the Czech organization even after they rebuilt their roster. Boombl4 has yet to achieve anything in the CS:GO competitive scene since leaving Natus Vincere and joining 1WIN would be the first real attempt from the Major winner to return to the top. Hejoined Bebra in September 2022 but the team almost immediately dropped out of the local CS:GO tournament in Moscowafter the group stage.
Boombl4 got kicked from Natus Vincere in May last year. His resignation was accompanied by scandals of drug abuse and a high-profile divorce, about which he gave a candid interview.
