The Fnatic duelist Nikita “Derke” Sirmitev has announced his departure from Fnatic and is now a free agent. Derke joined Fnatic in April 2021 and has won many titles alongside Fnatic.
In his tweet on X, Derke stated that he is available to play in any region, including NA, APAC, and EMEA, and he is ready and passionate about winning.
Derke’s history with Fnatic has had many ups and downs. Here’s a summary of Fnatic’s performance with Derke in major Valorant tournaments:
- VALORANT Champions 2024: 5th-6th place, won $85,000.
- VCT 2024: EMEA Stage 2: 1st place, won $100,000.
- Red Bull Home Ground #4 (2023): 1st place, won $50,000.
- VALORANT Champions 2023: 4th place, won $130,000.
- VCT 2023: Masters Tokyo: 1st place, won $350,000.
- VCT 2023: EMEA League: 2nd place, won $65,000.
- VCT 2023: LOCK//IN São Paulo: 1st place, won $100,000.
- VCT 2022: Stage 2 Masters – Copenhagen: 4th place, won $65,000.
- VCT 2022: EMEA Stage 2 Challengers: 1st place, won $42,262.97.
- VCT 2021: Stage 2 Masters – ReykjavÃk: 2nd place, won $100,000.
Team Fnatic is now left with two choices. The first is for Emir “Alfajer” Beder to become a duelist; this could be the case since we have seen Alfajer playing Raze before, with the return of Leo “Leo” Jannesson playing initiator and Emirhan “hiro” Kat playing Sentinel. The second option would be to look for another duelist; this will be challenging since Derke is considered the best in EMEA.
Here’s a list of the current Fnatic Valorant roster:
- Boaster (Jake Howlett) – (IGL)
- hiro (Emirhan Kat)
- Chronicle (Timofey Khromov)
- Alfajer (Emir Ali Beder)
- Leo (Leo Jannesson) – (sub)
