According to sources close to BLIX, it is understood that current Apeks player, James “Mistic” Orfila, has reached a verbal agreement with Team Liquid to join their squad for the 2024 VCT EMEA.

It is understood that Apeks and Team Liquid have also reached an agreement on the transfer of the British player, who will be set to join Liquid after previous stints with Apeks and fnatic.

With the addition of Mistic, Team Liquid would close its roster after BLIX previously reported the additions of Georgio “Keiko” Sanassy and Enzo “Enzo” Mestari to the lineup, in essence acquiring the entire core of Apeks’ current roster.

These additions come after a flurry of reported and announced changes for Liquid, with Igor “Redgar” Vlasov is set to leave Team Liquid in the coming days as we previously reported that he had agreed in principal to join Spanish organization Giants while Team Vitality acquired Saif “Sayf” Jibraeel. Likewise, Dom “soulcas” Sulcas announced his free agency in September.
