South Korean Valorant player Kim “Lakia” Jong-min is one step closer to joining T1, Bleed Esports analyst Ominous reported.
“I can also confirm that T1 try outs officially ‘ended’ yesterday and the final roster is close to being finalized. Lakia will join SayaPlayer, Munchkin, Xeta & ban. At the time of reporting the 6th player is unknown to me,” he noted on Twitter.
BLIX.GG had reported about negotiations of Ha “Sayaplayer” Jung-woo joining T1 on October 5th.
T1’s Valorant roster acquired a slot in the Pacific League for VCT 2023.
21-year-old Lakia at the time is benched at IGZIST and loaned by DAMWON Gaming.
He ranked third with NUTURN Gaming at the VCT 2021: Stage 2 Masters â ReykjavÃk; 5th – 8th with Vision Strikers at the VCT 2021: Stage 3 Masters â Berlin and 9th – 12th at the VALORANT Champions 2021 (also with Vision Strikers).
If all rumors are confirmed, T1’s Valorant roster would be:
