Cloud9 officially announced their newest roster for CS2. The team is pleased to welcome Nikita ‘HeavyGod’ Martynenko, Kaisar ‘ICY’ Faiznurov, and Timofey ‘interz’ Yakushin to their lineup.

The recent additions to the team are the outcome of a collaborative endeavor led by head coach Konstantin ‘groove‘ Pikiner and veteran Dmitry ‘hooch‘ Bogdanov. Their behind-the-scenes work has been instrumental in shaping the new roster.

‘HeavyGod’ recently joined the team from OG, where he has been a part of the lineup since the beginning of the year. His standout performance includes an impressive 1.12 rating over 39 maps played against the top 30 opposition.

Kazakh AWPer ‘ICY’ has been turning heads as a rising star from the region. He last played for AMKAL and qualified for the PGL Major Copenhagen, his first big LAN appearance. In CS2, the 19-year-old averages a 1.17 rating (1.13 over 37 maps against the top 30 teams).

‘interz’ has returned to Cloud9 after first joining in 2022. He initially left in early 2023 for the arrival of ‘buster’. Now, he has a second chance with a team that includes only one of his former teammates, ‘Ax1Le’.

Cloud9’s new lineup is set to make its debut in the BLAST Premier Fall Groups, which will run from July 29 to August 4 in Copenhagen.

    Nikita ‘HeavyGod‘ Martynenko
