Falcons are beginning to look like the superteam many expected them to become. Karrigan seems to have finally found the right formula to make the team’s expensive star roster click together at the perfect time.

The duo of Ilya ‘m0NESY‘ Osipov and Maksim ‘kyousuke‘ Lukin continues to deliver consistent performances, but it was Nikola ‘NiKo‘ Kovač who stole the spotlight in the semi-final against MOUZ. NiKo dominated the server with 52 kills and a 1.42 rating, reminding everyone why he has long been considered one of the best players in Counter-Strike history. Despite some recent inconsistency, his superstar form returned at exactly the right moment.

Another player to watch is René ‘TeSeS‘ Madsen, who was the top performer in Falcons’ earlier victory over Legacy during the group stage. If he can recreate that level in the final, Falcons will become even harder to stop.

Just one week ago, they secured third place at IEM Atlanta 2026 after defeating BetBoom Team, and now they have reached yet another grand final. Much of the team’s leadership comes from Andrei ‘arT‘ Piovezan, the experienced in-game leader best known for his successful years with FURIA. However, his aggressive and risky playstyle can still be inconsistent. In the previous match against Falcons during the group stage, arT struggled heavily, finishing as the team’s lowest-rated player with only 19 kills and a 0.64 rating. His high-risk approach can sometimes be punished severely by disciplined opponents.

On the positive side, saadzin and Eduardo ‘dumau‘ Wolkmer delivered excellent performances in the semi-final victory over MIBR, leading the scoreboard for Legacy.

Legacy is clearly in good form, but if they want to defeat a team like Falcons in a best-of-five series, every player on the roster will need to step up.

On paper and in recent results, Falcons are simply the stronger team. They have consistently faced tougher opposition and produced better performances throughout the season. Their firepower advantage is also significant. Legacy does not have anyone capable of individually matching the level of m0NESY, kyousuke, or NiKo.

Because of that, Legacy will need exceptional teamwork and near-perfect execution if they want to challenge Falcons across a long series.

The best-of-five format also favors Falcons heavily due to their superior experience both individually and as a team. If their stars perform anywhere close to the level shown in the semi-finals, Falcons should have full control of the matchup.
