Norwegian esports organization Apeks has decided to withdraw its CS:GO roster from all competitions.
Apeks has already withdrawn from ESEA Season 42 – Europe, where they have to play in the Advanced division. On September 26, Apeks was supposed to play in the quarterfinals of the upper bracket of the playoffs of the tournament.
The reason for this decision is the unsatisfactory results of the team. Apeks representatives noted that they will need time to analyze the situation, as well as understand when the roster will be ready to return to the competition.
The current Apex CS:GO lineup was formed in August. The team has since failed in qualifying for the RMR three times. After that, they ranked 3-4th at Fragadelphia 17 and 19th – 21st at CCT Central Europe Series #2.
Apeks’s actual CS:GO roster is:
- Tim “nawwk” Jonasson
- Joakim “jkaem” Myrbostad
- Martin “STYKO” Styk (In-game leader)
- Justinas “jL” Lekavicius
- Richard “shox” Papillon
- Jakub “kuben” GurczyÅski (head coach)
