The Bulgarian CS:GO player Tsvetelin “CeRq” Dimitrov has left Evil Geniuses after playing for more than three years with the squad.
“Time flies, 5 incredible years of being part of first NRG then EG. Forever grateful for the emotions, support and all the things we achieved together. Wishing all the best to the whole team. It’s time for a new beginning,” CeRq said.
First, CeRq joined NRG Esports and after disbanding in 2019 moved with the team to Evil Geniuses.
His departure didn’t come as a surprise. Rumors that he will leave the team had appeared a few days ago.
Who will replace the 23-year-old AWPer in the squad is not yet known.
Evil Geniuses are now:
- Vincent “Brehze” Cayonte
- Timothy “autimatic” Ta
- Jadan “HexT” Postma
- Sanzhar “neaLaN” Iskhakov (in-game leader)
- Daniel “Vorborg” Vorborg (coach)
