    PGL 2025-2026 Circuit Event List

PGL has recently revealed plans for a series of eleven top-tier events worldwide over the next two years, including yearly events in Astana, Kazakhstan, and Buenos Aires, Argentina.

In addition, the circuit will feature the Romanian tournament organizer, who will host events in Bucharest and Belgrade. Furthermore, the organizer plans to expand to São Paulo and Barcelona by 2026.

PGL has promised “other surprises” alongside its initial 11 events. Although the operator hasn’t hosted standalone events recently due to calendar restrictions, it has organized three Valve Majors (Stockholm, Antwerp, and Copenhagen) and is partnering with Perfect World for the CS Asia Championships, with plans for a fourth Major in Shanghai this November.

PGL will be organizing six events independently, as well as collaborating with FiReSPORTS for four events and continuing their partnership with Perfect World for CS Asia Championships 2025.

The tournament will host 16 teams and boast a prize pool of $1.25 million. Additionally, a hospitality budget of $450,000 will cover tickets, accommodation for 8 people, meals, and six-person practice rooms for each of the invited teams.

Due to the “very busy event schedule,” invitations for the events will be distributed directly based on the global Valve Regional Standings (VRS), and no open qualifiers will be held.

In the event that a roster declines the invitation, or is unable to secure visas within the specified timeframe, the invitation will then be offered to the next roster in the VRS until all available slots are filled.

The global invitation system will make an exception for the three South American events. In these events, the top two teams from the South American region will receive invitations, along with 14 teams from other continents.

The events will feature a group stage using a best-of-three Swiss system, followed by an eight-team single-elimination playoff. The grand final will be a best-of-five series.
