The management of Norwegian esports organization Apeks has appointed Martin “STYKO” Styk as their new in-game leader.
The decision was followed by a series of personnel changes in the CS:GO team. Previous IGL Asger “AcilioN” Larsen was benched with another team member Hugo “Chawzyyy” Günther at the end of June.
After that, Norwegians hired Polish legend Jakub “kuben” GurczyÅski as the new coach and signed Lithuanian Justinas “jL” Lekavicius as a player.
Until now, Apeks lineup remains incomplete. The club needs to find the fifth player.
STYKO joined Apeks in January. Before that, 26-year-old Slovak played for FunPlus Phoenix, GODSENT, SMASH Esports, NoChance, mousesports and many others.
His career has been surviving through difficult times and the new position could be a turning point for him.
