Sweden-based gaming organization Alliance seeks to breathe new life into their Dota 2 roster.
“With a poor season behind us in Div 1 we are making changes to the core of the Dota 2 team to better prepare for ESL and later TI qualifiers. There is a lot that can be said but the core issue in my eyes has been a lack of connection between the players on the team as well as us never being able to find and agree on our identity inside the game,” noted Jonathan “Loda” Berg, Alliance’s CEO and co-owner.
Alliance fired their captain Nikolay “CTOMAHEH1” Kalchev, who had been playing for the team since February. It has now signed Yaroslav “Limitless” Parshin – previously playing for HellRaisers – and Andrey “Dukalis” Kuropatkin from PuckChamp.
20-year-old Dukalis will be the new captain and 24-year-old Limitless will take place Moiez “symetricaL” Lin’s place in the team. symetricaL had left Alliance in July.
Additionally, Alliance invited Latvian Kirill “Alagon” Pavlik as the new head coach.
Alliance’s Dota 2 roster is:
- Nikolay “Nikobaby” Nikolov
- Aliwi “w33” Omar
- Yaroslav “Limitless” Parshin
- Adam “Aramis” Moroz
- Andrey “Dukalis” Kuropatkin (captain)
