The PUB Meta After Patch 7.32e – Who Won The Most?

Let’™s look at some of the heroes whose win rate went up after the arrival of Dota 2’™s latest patch.

The Dota 2 patch 7.32e, which was a part of The Dead Reckoning Update, delivered a couple of interesting hero changes. Even though it didn’™t re-invent the meta, many of the top-tier heroes from the previous patch received substantial nerfs. Needless to say, this had an effect on their pick rates.

The update became available a couple of days ago, which means we have some data to work with regarding win rates. Many Dota 2 fans who follow BLIX.GG want to reach the highest possible rank in the game, so they’™re always looking for the best heroes to pick. That’™s why this article will focus on some of the biggest winners after the new update.

Besides covering their current win rate, we’™ll also show you the changes they’™ve gone through. Keep in mind Valve may release a hotfix soon because some heroes feel too strong in the hands of the best players in the world.

    Alchemist

If we take a look at the Dota 2 stats, we can see Alchemist is the hero who received the most substantial win rate increase in the last week. After the Dota 2 patch 7.32e became available, the hero’s win rate was boosted 3.8% (~50% in total) and his pick rate grew 2.38%. Consequently, he is among the most successful heroes in the current meta.

There are a couple of reasons why Alchemist became more popular. The first one is that the hero received small buffs, such as an increased Stun duration of Unstable Concoction on levels 1, 2, and 3. Furthermore, Alchemist now gets a +25 damage bonus for Chemical Rage per scepter instead of 20 damage, making him even stronger.

In addition to all of the hero changes, Dota 2’™s latest patch also affected Radiance, one of the most popular items for the hero. Its total cost is down from 5050 to 4700 gold, meaning alchemist players can get it even faster. However, the item also gives 55 damage instead of 60, making it slightly less effective.

Solar Crest also got small buffs, which is another item Alchemist support players often go for. Those things might not seem that important, but as we can see, they have an effect on the meta and his pick rate.

    Muerta

Unsurprisingly, the second name on this hero list is Muerta, Dota 2’™s latest carry. Following the first couple of days after her release, the hero has around a 46% win rate, up by 3.5%. What’™s really impressive is Muerta’™s pick rate, which sits at ~34%, meaning she appears in one out of every three Dota 2 games.

There are many reasons why Muerta is extremely popular now. In fact, you can learn more about her by going through our Dota 2 Muerta overview, where we cover her abilities and analyze her value as a carry.

We believe the hero will continue to shine in the next couple of days. However, Valve may decide to nerf some of her abilities; something we’™ve seen happen time and time again with other new heroes.

    Anti-Mage

Every Dota 2 carry player is probably happy to see Anti-Mage is back among the best heroes in the game. This was the only popular carry who was completely left behind in the last patch. The hero wasn’™t picked at all, but even when he got the chance to shine, he never impressed us with anything.

Fortunately, the Dota 2 patch 7.32e changed some things about Anti-Mage, which means he’™s back in the meta. If we take a look at the stats, we can see Anti-Mage’™s current win rate is around 55.48%, making him among the best in the game. Since the arrival of the latest Dota 2 patch, his win rate has been up by 3.25%.

In terms of the changes, AM’™s attack backswing is down to 0.3s instead of 0.6s, and his Mana Void now stuns all targets he hits. The changes to the items don’™t have that big of an effect on him, but Abyssal Blade’™s + 5 bonus damage is definitely a plus.

    Beastmaster

Interestingly, the next hero on the list with a +3.24% increase in his win rate is Beastmaster. One of the go-to offlaners from a few metas ago is back in the game, and it seems like we’™ll be seeing him more often than before.

If we take a look at the Dota 2 patch 7.32e patch notes, we can see Beastmeaster’™s Drums of Slom now give 115 damage per hit instead of 110. However, his level 15 talent move speed aura now gives +20 MS instead of +25, a slight nerf.

Even though the hero buffs may not seem that impressive, some of the item buffs definitely have an effect on his success. Meteor Hammer, for example, its channel time is down from 2.5s to 2s (this item isn’™t mega popular on Beastmaster, but some people go for it). Solar Crest’™s buffs also have an effect on the hero and his win rate.

    Clinkz

Prior to the arrival of the new patch, Clinkz was in an interesting position because the hero appeared in multiple professional games. However, he wasn’™t the go-to option in pro and PUB games because people focused on other options.

Judging by his pick rate, he isn’™t super popular now, but the win rate shows he’™s the most successful Dota 2 hero right now. Following 7.32e, Clinkz gained a +2.7% win rate and has a total of ~56%, which is extremely impressive.

If we take a look at the patch notes, we can see Clinkz received two changes to Skelton Walk. The first one is that the ability will create one Burning Army Skeleton after breaking the invisibility. Furthermore, once the hero gets a Shard, the bonus skeletons will decrease from 2 to 1.

Interestingly, some of the items Clinkz players typically bought received slight nerfs. Maelstrom and Gleipnir are the two big ones, but the same applies to Hurricane Pike. Fortunately., Nullifier got slightly buffed because it costs less than before.
