The legendary three-times World Champion and Worlds 2022 finalist Lee “Faker” Sang-Hyeok decided to stay in T1 for another three years, until the end of the 2025 season.
The League of Legends superstar had kept the entire community in suspense for some time. According to BLIX.GG sources, he had negotiated with organizations in North America. FlyQuest and Team Liquid were named among the interested parties.
However, even though information about offers to Faker appears regularly at the end of each season, he has been playing for T1 since 2013. And this year, he didn’t change himself and extended the contract with the South Korean organization.
In addition, T1 has announced the signing of two coaches to the headquarters of the main LoL team. Kim “Roach” Kang-hui and Im “Tom” Jae-hyeon will be working with head coach Bae “Bengi” Seong-woong for the upcoming 2023 season.
Roach coached the T1 Challengers last season and Bengi came to T1 from PSG Talon, where he was assistant to Cheng “CorGi” Pin-lun.
