Full list of the teams accepted to Valorant Partnership Program
The second known team to join VCT EMEA would be KOI, another fast-growing, big fanbase organization this time based in Spain, and headed by famous streamer Ibai Llanos and football players and businessman Gerard Piqué. This would not be the first franchised Riot League they join, as they are expected to join LEC alongside Rogue in 2023, as BLIX.GG reported weeks ago. However, this time they would join VCT EMEA with a completely independent project without Rogue, but it looks like another partnership would be possible.
The organization already entered the Valorant Scene at the beginning of 2022, participating in VALORANT Regional Leagues 2022 Spain, achieving pretty decent results in Stage 1, where they reached Semifinals and lost against eventual winners Rebels Gaming. In Stage 2, nevertheless, they had pretty bad results after losing key players such as Joona “H1ber” Parviainen, ending in 9th place but avoiding demotion.
Keep in mind that teams already participating in Valorant Regional Leagues will not be allowed to field another academy team as well as their main team in VCT EMEA, as reported by BLIX two weeks ago.
