G2 Path to the Grand Final
G2 started this tournament with a win over TheMongolZ with a 2-0 score. It wasn't as easy as many expected, so G2's new roster capability was questionable after the first match. The next game was against Team Spirit, and it didn't look good for G2 at first, but when the game started, everyone could see the real power of G2's new players, and G2 won that match with a 2-1 score in the end. TheSemi-Finalmatch was against another CIS team Virtus.pro, and G2 didn't have any problems winning with a 2-0 score with a confident score on both maps.

As we mentioned above, after their first match with a new roster, it was questionable if they were capable of doing well against top teams. But since the second match, all the questions disappeared, and we called them the real contenders for a title in this tournament. 'm0NESY' can be on the bottom of the scoreboard, and still, G2 would win matches - that is something no one would believe in a previous roster they had, when 'm0NESY' had to carry most of the matches playing out of his mind. As of now, even if it's just a honeymoon period, they look almost unstoppable.

Natus Vincere Path to the Grand Final
Natus Vincere also didn't have a hard start playing against FURIA in their opening match and they won with a 2-0 score. The second match was against FaZe, and even if it looked like a 50-50 match, Natus Vincere won with a 2-0 score. Semi-Final is the only match where Natus Vincere lost one map against MOUZ, even though the first map was lost with a 1-13 score and it looked like MOUZ could demolish Natus Vincere in that series, Natus Vincere made a comeback starting from a second map and demolished MOUZ by only letting them win 13 round in total for the next two maps.

They were and still are in a good shape and they didn't show any weak signs for a long time. Consistency seem to be one of their main advantages in every match they play. 'w0nderful' was and still carrying matches and at this tournament it is also 'b1t' who can solo-handedly carry a match and him being in a good shape makes Natus Vincere even more dangerous team to play against.
