Liquid has signed Justin ‘jks’ Savage. He completes the international team after removing Casper ‘cadiaN’ Møller, Felipe ‘skullz’ Medeiros, and head coach Wilton ‘zews’Prado in an off-season rebuild.
‘jks’ has been inactive since November, when he was replaced in G2’s starting lineup by Nemanja ‘nexaâ ‘ IsakoviÄ. He was released from his contract in April after an 18-month tenure, during which he won the 2022 BLAST Premier World Final and the 2023 editions of IEM Katowice and IEM Cologne.
During the off-season, Team Liquid made their second signing by acquiring ‘jks’. This move follows the addition of Polish AWPer Roland‘ultimateâ ‘ Tomkowiak. The Dutch organization has appointed Torbjørn ‘mithRâ ‘Nyborg as the team’s new head coach.
Liquid now has two European, two North American, and one Asia-Pacific player. This allows the team to qualify for the Shanghai Major from Europe or the Americas, as the roster isn’t region-specific.
Liquid’s revamped lineup is set to make its debut in the BLAST Premier Fall Groups, which will run from July 29 to August 4 in Copenhagen.
