North American esports organization has partially confirmed the rumors and signed Sanjar "neaLaN" İshakov to the primary CS:GO roster.

21-year-old Kazakhstani pro CS:GO player will take the in-game leader position. He switched to EG from K23, a Kazakhstani team located in Russia.

However, rumors of hiring Kévin "misutaaa" Rabier were not confirmed. Instead, the club promoted Jadan "HexT" Postma from EG.CD (also known as the EG Blueprint project).

neaLaN and HexT will replace William "RUSH" Wierzba and Jake "Stewie2K" Yip in the roster. Earlier, Stewie2K decided to step away from the competitive scene and downshifted to EG's streamer position.

BLIX.GG's report also confirmed the arrival of a new coach into the team. Daniel "Vorborg" Vorborg has replaced Damien “malek” Marcel as the coach of Evil Genius’s primary CS:GO roster. The Danish was previously the coach for Copenhagen Flames and esports director of the organization.

The new lineup will debut in the BLAST Premier Fall Groups during 19-28 August.

Evil Geniuses main lineup is:

  • Vincent "Brehze" Cayonte
  • Tsvetelin "CeRq" Dimitrov
  • Timothy "autimatic" Ta
  • Sanzhar "neaLaN" Iskhakov (IGL)
  • Jadan "HexT" Postma
  • Daniel "Vorborg" Vorborg (coach)
