The famous French club departed the whole lineup and coach staff from the Siege team, still unknown PSG’s plans for the game in 2023. This is the 14th team disbanding meaning an exit from R6 or a reevaluation on the scene. Reject from Japan also departed the Siege division.
The Canadian organization, Gaimin Gladiators showed its dissatisfaction in the post saying goodbye to the Indonesian roster, ‘Regrettably, effective immediately we are releasing the roster due to lack of info from Ubisoft. We’ll postpone our investment in R6 until we have the necessary info to move forward.’
Former Six Invitational champions, TSM stopped the operations in the game after 3 years of presence. Parabellum is not leaving Siege but reevaluating the next steps in the title. Chris Lamarucciola, pB’s CEO, explained exclusively to BLIX.GG the decision. Beastcoast made a similar decision, saying: ‘as we evaluate our approach to the competitive R6 ecosystem this year, we’ve made the difficult decision to release our existing roster’. Still, in NA, Mirage followed the same steps as Parabellum and Beastcoast as reported first by BLIX.GG, meaning three organizations with undefined plans for R6 in 2023.
Luminosity Gaming also farewelled its roster but not giving details on plans for the game. XSET saw its lineup leaving the organization and signing with M80.
In Brazil, 00Nation was in advanced negotiations with Magic Squad for a spot in the major league in the region. The Norwegian organization already negotiated some of the players from the roster and let the remaining listen to offers from other clubs.
In LATAM most of the organizations are still waiting for the format in the region and more details from Ubisoft to evaluate a presence in the title. Pampas, Furious, and Leviátan from the Argentinian league let the players free from contracts. Four teams from the Mexican division also let the players free from any contractual commitment.
2022 SI finalist, Team Empire said goodbye to R6 still during the past year. Speculation about NAVI leaving is getting stronger but BLIX.GG can’t confirm anything related to these rumors yet.
FURIA is also leaving according to a recent report from BLIX.GG.
