Ex-Apeks CS:GO roster's in game leader Asger "AcilioN" Larsen and his teammate Hugo "chawzyyy" Günther have parted ways with the Norwegian organization.

Esportsmen and Apeks terminated their contracts by mutual agreement. AcilioN and chawzyyy are now free agents.

AcilioN has announced that he wants to join a new team. "Officially free agent. Even though we didn't get the results we would've liked, I learned a lot during this time and I'm sure I can bring that to the next team," he noted on Twitter.

chawzyyy decided to take a rest from the competitive scene. "As of today, my contract with Apeks has come to an end. The experience has developed me as a player and person. I have decided to take a break from playing professionally to focus on school for now," he said.

Both players were on the bench in Apeks since the end of June. This summer, the team has been significantly rebuilt. Apeks hired Joakim "jkaem" Myrbostad, Justinas "jL" Lekavicius, as a new IGL and Jakub "kuben" Gurczyński as a coach and finally Norwegians signed Richard "shox" Papillon to complete the squad.

Despite the renewal, the roster didn’t live up to the expectations of the organization and the management of Apeks at the end of September decided to withdraw them from all competitions.
